How runDisney Runners Get Out of Corral G

A workshop for runners going 13–16+ minutes per mile who want to start in earlier corrals, stop worrying about the Balloon Ladies, and finally have time for character stops.

Real Runners. Real Results.

What clients are saying about getting faster with dr. ali…

  • I looked back at my 30/20/10s from last year at this time right before we started working together… I was doing 2 rounds with my 20/10 at 5.2 mph and 6.2 mph. Today- I did 6 rounds at 6.2 and 7.2!

Thanks for helping me push myself to work harder and get faster! – Page

  • “I PR’D!!! FIRST SUB 3-HOUR ½ MARATHON!

    THANK YOU <3 COULDN’T HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT STRONGER.FASTER.FINISHER.!” – Christina W.

  • So the 10K… I went into it wanting to beat my time and I beat it by a half hour from 2022 without trying.

The half marathon I beat by 20 minutes.

And then the marathon… I hit my A-goal and I killed my A-goal. (6:19)- Amanda

When you’re in Corral G (against your will), it usually means:

❌ No character stops

❌ No buffer for bathroom breaks

❌ Constantly worrying about where the balloon ladies are

The frustrating part?

Even getting down to a 14 min/mile pace would give you about a 45-minute buffer for the marathon.

But right now you’re doing all the things you’ve been told to do:

• strength workouts

• speed workouts

• pushing your long runs faster

…and somehow you’re still not getting faster.

If that sounds familiar, it’s not because you’re not trying hard enough.

It’s because most training advice wasn’t designed for slow, back-of-the-pack runDisney runners.

That’s exactly why I share training strategies specifically for runners starting in the last corrals… so you can build buffer, enjoy character stops, and cross the finish line without feeling broken.

Join the workshop to know exactly what to do before your next race and say bye-bye balloon lady scaries

How runDisney Runners Get Out of Corral G is for you if:

  • You’re a slow, back-of-the-pack, runDisney runner

  • You start in the last corrals and worry about the balloon ladies

  • You use run/walk

  • Your pace is 13-16+ minute/mile

And especially if…

You’ve signed up for Disney because of the medals, characters and you love Disney, but:

  • You can’t seem to run any faster

  • You go right past all the character lines wishing you could stop

  • You’re constantly doing the balloon lady math to see how much of a buffer you have

This workshop is built specifically for runners who train for Princess, Wine & Dine, Marathon Weekend, Springtime Surprise Weekends and want to get faster so they have more time to stop for characters, bathroom breaks and not constantly look over their shoulder for the balloon ladies.

I promise

By the end of this workshop you’ll know:

• Exactly what pace to run
How to run it
When to run it

…so you can get at least 1 minute per mile faster and build a bigger buffer from the Balloon Ladies.

Hey, how’s it goin?

I’m Dr. Ali.

I’m a Doctor of Physical Therapy, run coach, and personal trainer who works with runners training for runDisney races… especially the ones who don’t always feel like “real runners.”

The runners I work with often:

  • start in the later corrals

  • plan to use run/walk

  • finish toward the back of the pack

  • love Disney more than speed work

And yet, they still want to cross the finish line feeling proud, confident, and excited to celebrate… not wiped out and questioning everything.

As a Doctor of Physical Therapy and coach with 14+ years in rehab, I design training plans that help slower-paced runners train in a way that actually feels doable and sustainable… so race weekend doesn’t feel overwhelming or out of reach.

When I’m not reading Harry Potter, wishing I was at Disney, hanging out with my dog and husband, or crocheting amigurumi, I’m helping runners stop overthinking their training and start trusting that they can do hard things… even at their own pace.

You don’t need to be fast.
You don’t need to love running.
You just need a plan that meets you where you are.

You deserve to cross the finish line at Disney feeling confident… not broken.

in case you’re new, let me introduce myself
